Happy New Year!

I always have mixed emotions on the New Year. I am happy to ring in the New Year and put a fresh start on everything, but always a little sad to see the past year end. Every year the year seems to pass a little faster.

Speaking of fresh starts, I have started replenishing my soap stock. Black Raspberry/Vanilla and Cinfully Cinnamon have both been made and will be up on the website towards the end of January.

Also, if you have been to the website lately you will notice that there are some changes. The soap categories have now been changed to; Gourmet All Natural Soaps, Gourmet Cocoa Butter Soaps, Gourmet Shea Butter Soap, etc. This is to let you know that our soaps are created with luxurious ingredients, good for your skin, and that you are not just getting a plain bar of soap. I want my customers to know that they are getting good value for their money.

I am also revisiting my product line. I do plan to add a few new items as well as discontinue others. There will be other changes this year as well. It is a lot of work packing up all of your product and displays and taking them to farmer's markets etc. I will still be attending the farmer's market, but maybe not as many this year. I'm still undecided on this one. Local customers can still get their product by ordering on-line or telephone and I will happily deliver on orders of $40.00 or more.

I still have some smaller sized bars left. These are being reduced to clear, as I make new batches of bigger sized soaps, so now is a great time to stock up on quality hand made soap.

Having Your Own Business

I love having my own business. To succeed or fail is basically all up to me. How many hours I put in (and I put in lots), etc all add up to your success or failure. Of course your product also has to be something that people want to buy. I put a lot of thought, from the design, to the ingredients that go into my products, so they are created with love. That is another great thing, as I can choose my own products. But one of the very best things about having your own business is the people that you meet along the way. I have met so many wonderful people, and some have formed into friendships. So I just wanted to thank all of my wonderful customers for all of your support over the years. You have made my journey a truly wonderful experience.

Handmade Soap Is Good For Your Skin

As you may or may not know, I was at the Chilliwack Arts Council this past weekend, and this coming weekend I will be at the Abbotsford Arts Council Christmas Craft Fair. It was very busy last weekend, and there were very many compliments on how pretty my soap is. Thank you everyone. But the one comment I got, that totally surprised me, was when one lady was so totally surprised when she over heard me telling another customer the benefits of homemade soap. She thought it was just to smell and look at. So this message is to let everyone know "Handmade Soap Is Good For Your Skin"! Made with skin loving vegetable oils and butters, and natural glycerin, what could be better for your skin? Certainly not detergent filled, massed produced bars (they don't even call it soap, but beauty bars,etc). So just because I like to make my soap pretty, it is still made to use!! I could just make an ordinary bar, but that doesn't, satisfy my creativity. I like to make it look pretty. So..if someone gives you a bar of handmade soap, please use it. It wasn't meant to put in your drawer.

This morning I got my morning coffee, and then went to my computer to open up my email. My subscription to the Saponifier Magazine was in my mailbox. I love this e-magazine. So I open up my magazine and start to read through it, and low and behold if my soaps aren't in the magazine. I was so excited, as this has never happened to me before. I am just thrilled. Thanks Saponifier.

New Mineral Soaks

I decided to go with a Christmas Theme this year, and Peppermint & Vanilla, and Chocolate/Mint seemed fitting. So the soaps are made and curing, and I just finished the bubble bars and mineral soaks. The bubble bars have to sit for a couple of days, but the mineral soaks are ready and on the website. Personally I love a nice bath with salts. It is so relaxing, and you feel so good afterwards.

I haven't posted in a little while because I've been very busy packaging all of this soap I made for a retail (wholesale) order. The Little Cricket Gift Gallery in Maple Ridge and Fort Langley will be getting all of these goodies in the middle of October, so if you live out that way, you will soon be able to purchase some of our products there. Yesterday, was a busy day making more soap. I made these cute Orange with Chocolate Soap Cupcakes, which will most likely turn dark brown on the bottom due to the Chocolate fragrance. The top is scented with Fresh Orange fragrance oil.

And I also made a Black Raspberry Vanilla Soap Cake and Cupcakes, plus some Orange with Chocolate Soap bars and a log of Mayan Gold. I only took pictures of the Soap Cake and Cupcakes though.

These will all be available in about a month. Tomorrow is my last outdoor farmer's market, and I have to say that it will be nice not to have to pack everything up for a month. I love the farmer's market, but it is a lot of work. November is a very busy month with Christmas Craft Events, so October will be a month of replenishing stock, so I will still be very busy.

Argan Facial Oil

I have been reading for quite some time about Argan Oil, and all of its wonderful properties. So I got in some new bottles, some more organic oils and have created a new facial serum which I thinks feels great on the skin.

Here are just a few things about Argan Oil - it has been clinically tested and proven to be a miraculous oil. Rich in Vitamin E & F, Fatty Acids, Squalane, Anti-Oxidents, Carotene, Phytosterols, and Phenolic compounds. It is a wonderful moisturizer as it it totally natural and can be used on all skin types. It is easily absorded by the skin with no oily residue. Argan oil is also known to reduce skin inflammation and may help with exzema and psoriasis.

As I mentioned awhle back, I got a new soap cutter. :)) It cuts my bars rather big, so I'm going to have to raise the price, or I could cut them in half and sell for a lower cost. Just a few soaps to show you that are now up on the website. First is Candy Land. This is a fairly light scented soap, that includes Lemongrass, Sweet Orange and Spearmint. Quite fresh smelling.

About a week and a half ago, I got a fairly big wholesale order, and in that order they want 4 cakes, 2 Lemon and Vanilla, and 2 Pink Sugar. I haven't made the pink sugar yet, but have finished the Lemon and Vanilla. They also want cupcakes. So I just thought I would show a couple of photo's. The soaps still have to cure, but I am happy with the results. Also, please vote on the bar size I should keep. Thanks so much!

My soap cutter finally arrived, and I got to cut soap with it the other day. It was so easy!! Instead of taking me and hour or an hour and a half I was done in 15 minutes. How great is that. The only problem is that my soap cutter cuts my bars at least 20% bigger than when I cut by hand. So this is a dilemma. Do I cut the bars in half, making them about 3 ounces and sell for a lower price (currently my bars weigh about 4 oz and I charge $5.00 a bar), or do I leave them big approximately 6 ounces and charge more? I'm really not sure which way I should go? Any suggestion? I would appreciate any comments regarding this.Anyway, here are a few photo's of soaps I recently made.

Christmas Soaps and More

Last week I made 27 pounds of soap. Today I made 21 pounds of soap. Some of these are new and some are refills. Last week I made Cinfully Cinnamon, (I tried to do the funnel method, but because of the essential oils, it started to act fast, so they didn't turn out quite how I had hoped. But overall, still okay. Then I made a new batch of Lavender/Chamomile. I had intended to pipe the tops, but was running out of time, so didn't get that accomplished either. Next was Sleigh Ride, and I am really pleased with this one. It smells sooo... good. I poured in the base layer, then I spoon layered the remaining colours. And lastly I made Candy Land. This is scented with essential oils, and also smells terrific. I layered the colours and then inserted embeds. I think it turned out pretty nice. I also make a few Candy Land Cupcake Soaps. So here are some pictures of last weeks soaps.

Hot Pink Pomegranate Soap and Stuff

Here is a totally girly soap. I placed shoe, purse and fan embeds into this soap and coloured them hot pink to match the name of the soap. I hope you like them. The scent has a sparkling, bright pomegranate scent, having a tart citrus and pomegranate top note, a slightly floral heart of jasmine and violet leaf, and finishing with a spicy ginger and woody, twig like base note.

And last new item, is my Salt N Soap Sundae. These are a salt and soap product all in one, and I think they look delicious.

Organic Teddy Bear Baby Soap

These cute 100% Natural organic soaps have been formulated for babies and children or those with sensitive skin. I made these with 40% Organic ingredients and I wanted them to look cute. These were a two day project, as I made the teddy bear's first, and then inserted them into the main log on day 2. This is a mild creamy soap that is full of moisturizing properties. Gentle enough for most skin types. Lightly scented in Lavender and Chamomile, these are big bars weighing between 125 and 150 grams.

I've been quite busy creating some new soaps, and I just wanted to share a few pictures of logs of soap before I cut. The first one is my new baby and childrens soaps Teddy Bear.

This soap is lightly scented in lavender and chamomile and made with 40% organic oils. Next is my Hot Pink Pomagranite. It has purses, fans and shoes placed on the top. I think it turned out pretty good.

And the last log is Japanese Cherry Blossom. This is such a lovely fragrance. Very delicate and floral. I also made up some cupcakes in this fragrance.

These will be available for sale around the middle of July.

New - Hello Sweet Thang Cupcake Soaps

Who wouldn't want to receive this beautiufl cupcake soap? Raw Turbino Sugar, Lemon Zest, Meringue, Whipped Cream and Madagascar Vanilla notes make up this heady concoction. Yesterday I made a mini 2 pound "Soap Cake". It is scented with Satsuma (a orange and citrus blend) along with a grown up Vanilla. This cake will probably darken as it cures, but I am quite happy with it. These would make great party favors. Each cake has 10 slices. It is not up on my website, as I just made it, and it has to cure.

Graduation Ducky Soaps

On Wednesday I was at the Langley Farmer's Market. It was a rainy day for the grand opening, but that didn't stop people from attending. I was really surprised at the number of vendors that were there considering it is a fairly new market. Anyway, there was another soap vendor there, just across from me, and she came over to visit me. She gave me the best compliment I could receive. She said she is getting tired of doing what she is doing and thinking of quitting. Then she started looking at my soaps, and asking me questions about my procedure. When she was done, she said "you have inspired me, and I didn't want to be inspired". But I took that as a complement. It felt nice to give someone who didn't like what they were doing, to want to do it again.

What I've Been Up To.

Last week and this week, I've been pretty busy making more soap. We in the soap industry love to look at other soapmaker's creativity (aka SoapPorn). Recently I've discovered some soapmaker's on Youtube, and they are what inspired me to make my soaps look like this. If you want to check them out, go to Edens Secret Handmade Soap, and on youtube Roxies Bath and Body. She doesn't have a website yet, but her youtube user name is velvetinkcafe. Just awesome soap makers. Anyway here are 4 different batches from left to right on top, Mystic and Lemon n Vanilla.

Left to right on bottom Acai Berry and Ivory Clay Complexion Bar. All these will be ready to go around the middle of June. I made more soap the other day, but they are cut up already, so I will post those pictures once they are ready to go. The sun is shining right now, so off to the garden I go.

New Look For Lavender Patchouli - Mother's Day is Almost Here

I decided that I didn't like the look of my old Lavender Patchouli, so I changed it. This didn't turn out quite like I hoped, but I'm still happy with it. It is one of my most popular soaps. A great soap for a Mother's Day Gift, as I know it is one of my Mother's favorites.

The Abbotsford Farm and Country Market is starting this Saturday, so I hope my local customer's can come out and join the celebrations. There will be music and cake.

The other day I was in the mood to make bath products, so I made these cute little Mini Cupcake Bath Bombs in two of my favorite scents, Creamsicle and Black Raspberry Vanilla. They smell delicious and I think they look pretty good too! These would make great party favors for a child's birthday party, bridal shower, etc.

Funky Earth Cold Process Soap

100% natural, this soap is scented with Eucalyptus, Lavender, Tea Tree and Anise essential oils giving it a clean freshing scent. This is our first attempt at a three colour swirl, and to us it looks like the earth, so hence the name. Made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Almond Oil, essential oils, and mica's.

New Pink Sugar Soap Slice

Our new Pink Sugar Soap Cake Slices are now available on the website. These slices are really big. Almost 2 regular soap bars in weight. The reason I cut them so big, is because I wanted a flower on each slice, so you can easily cut these in half to make them easier to use in the shower or bath. I am very happy with the way they turned out.

2 New Gourmet Soaps

Sometimes when I am planning to make soap, I envision it before it's made, and then try to accomplish that vision. My new Herbal Delight soap turned out better than I envisioned, but my Cranberry Plum did not. I am truly happy with my Herbal Delight. The scent is a little different, but I think it is going to be very popular. The scent combines a mix of Eucalyptus, Ginger and Peppermint for refreshing top notes, and is rounded out with Thyme and the faintest touch of Amber and Musk.

My new Cranberry Plum would have turned out the way I wanted it to, but the fragrance discoloured the soap to brown, which was not my intent. I was hoping for a pink, reddish and white soap. It still looks okay and the scent is very nice.

New Look for Dead Sea Mud Gourmet Soap

I love our Dead Sea Mud Soap, and wanted to add just a little something to it, so I added Australian Pink Clay, and some Himalayan Pink Salt to the top for some added interest. Everything else is the same. Here is a photo of the new soap.

On The Curing Rack

Last week I made 5 different batches of soap, but have only had time to take pictures of the soap cake I made. I wanted pictures of it before I cut it. Sometimes when I make soap, I have visions of what it should look like. Sometimes they turn out the way I want, and sometimes they don't. I was very pleased with all my batches last week, and will try to get pictures of them up this week. But for now here are some photo's of my "Pink Sugar Soap Cake" before it was sliced.

Today I just finished making up some guest bar type soap for one of my wholesalers, and was thinking of all the guest bars and wedding soap favors I have made. Our new "Minute Manicure" has instant and dramatic effects on the skin. After just one application, you are sure to notice the difference. Made up of wonderful nourishing vegetable oils, sea salt, and a refreshing blend of essential oils. Because there are no emulsifiers used, this mixture will settle, and therefore needs to be stirred before each use. To use, stir, and then put about a teaspoon onto your hands (or where ever you are using), and massage into skin. Gently rinse with warm water and pat dry. You will have incredibly soft smooth hands. Well I don't know what everyone else did this past week, but I made soap, and lots of it. Here is a picture of some of the soaps that I made, which include:(from left to right)

Black Raspberry/Vanilla, Rosemary/Mint, Citrus Energy, Lavender Oat's Goat's Milk & Honey, and Coffee Soap. I have also made up more Mayan Gold and a NEW Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap. These should all be up on the website by January 20th.

As I have mentioned before, I had a very busy Christmas season, and it makes it so worthwhile when you open up your email and get an email like this one;

"I was looking on your site and didn't see the rosemary mint soap I recently bought at the Christmas craft fair. It had the little beads in it that were exfoliating. I am hoping that you still have some of that soap, I am interested in buying about 10 bars of it. I found it to be amazing soap,smelled wonderful, I had absolutly no reaction to it and my skin has never felt smoother. It is by far, the best soap I have ever used and I am would like to get ahold of some more. Keri".

So the Rosemary/Mint Soap is made and is just curing. It sure makes you feel good when people let you know that they are enjoying your product.

Soap Nearly Gone

Well Christmas is almost upon us. Only 16 days!! Many of our most popular soaps are gone, but we still have some soaps available. Next week I hope to start replenishing my stock, plus I have some new ideas for more New Soap. I was asked many times at my Christmas Events if I had a Coffee Soap, which I have made in the past, but not at present. So I've ordered in some Coffee Essential Oil (so expensive!), and some Coffee Butter, and once I receive them, I will be making a Coffee Soap. I'm also going to be making a New Beer Soap, as well as a couple of new Natural soaps. If you have idea's for soap(please let us know) or would like a custom batch made up just for you, we are more than happy to work with you.

Patchouli Essential Oil

When I'm at the markets, I'm often asked what is "Patchouli". Patchouli, also known as Pogostemon Cablin is a bushy perennial plant that grows about 3 feet high and is native to Malaysia and India. Some people may remember a very popular scent back in the 60's called Patch, which was derived from Patchouli. It has a rich musky-sweet, strong spicy herbaceous scent. It has many benefits which include; anti-depressant, anti-septic, aphrodisiac, astringent, deodorant, fungicide, insecticide, sedative and tonic. In skin care is is said to help with acne, dermatitis, eczema and oily skin. Due to failed crops in past years, Patchouli Essential is very expensive. We use this oil in our Dead Sea Mud Gourmet Soap , Lavender Patchouli Gourmet Soap and Soap Cakes, Patchouli Lime Gourmet Soap, Spicy Patchouli Gourmet Soap and our Rosemary Mint Natural Soap. Personally I am very fond of the scent, but it is one that either you like or dislike. I find that when it is blended with other essential oils, it changes leaving a totally different scent, but maybe that is just me.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil is extracted from the seed of Limanthes alba (meadowfoam). When in bloom this plant resembles the white foaming bubbles on the ocean. It is native to Vancouver Island, BC, Oregon, and California.

This is a wonderful oil to use in cosmetics because of its lubricity and emollient properties. It is absorbed quickly by the skin and forms a protective barrier to help protect the skin. It feels lighter on the skin than other vegetable oils.

We use this oil in our New "After Shave Balm" as well as in our Lip Balms, Strawberry Foaming Facial Scrub and our Silky Body Oil Mist. I personally love the feel of this oil and maybe you will to once you try one of these products.

Operation Santa Claus

I'm not sure if many of you know about Operation Santa Claus. A lady by the name of Lindalu Forseth, who ownes Malaspina Soap Factory, in Powell River BC, asked soapmakers across the country to donate handmade soap for our Canadian troops overseas. Her goal was to get 5000 handmade bars of soap and she did it. Mountain Farms Soap was a proud contributor, as well as many other soapmakers across the country. There were even donations from soapmakers from other countries. This is a wonderful tribute that shows people do care about people.

Lately when I go to the farmer's market, people will come into my booth, and say "Your soap is so pretty. To pretty to use." Well I like to make pretty soaps, but I also want my customer's to buy it and use it, because handmade soap is GOOD for your skin. Just because it's pretty doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. Would you rather use ugly soap?? Use it up, and then you can buy more, and I can make more. That's how I get to be creative :)), and how I make some of my customers smile.

Some soap makers make such beautiful soaps. I would love to use their beautiful soaps, just so I could buy more, and when I retire from soap making, that is probably just what I will do. Today I made some more soap cupcakes and a soap cake. I think they turned out very nice, and can hardly wait until they have cured so I post some pictures. I also have many bars on the curing rack right now, which will be available by mid September, so keep checking back.

Things Change

It seems as we age, changes occur in our bodies. When I was young, I was one of those people who could eat anything they like, and never gain an ounce. Then I hit 30, had my youngest son, and soon I was gaining weight every year. By the time I hit 45 I had gained at least 20 pounds. I was reading a Canadian Living Magazine the other day, and the article stated that most women loose 10% of their muscle mass every decade after they turn 40. Well I believe it. When I couldn’t stand how I looked anymore, I joined weight watchers and lost 20 lbs, but it is a constant struggle to keep the weight off.

Also, as I have aged, my body aches in places that it never used to. Getting older sucks or does it. A couple of months ago, one of my good friends asked me to go to Hot Yoga with her. I didn’t really know what Hot Yoga was, but thought sure, I’ll try it. It was intense, and I didn’t think I would make it through the class, but I did, and I felt so….good after doing it. The room is hot, about 105 F, so you sweat, sweat and sweat, but this is so your body is warm and your muscles can stretch without hurting. Since then I have gone twice a week, and will continue to do so. I can sleep through the night, without any aches or pains. I have lost a little weight, but also I’m toning up, which is great. Women and Men from all ages and all sizes attend the Hot Yoga I go to. If you would like to learn more about Hot Yoga here is the link to the class I attend in Abbotsford. Another new soap on our website. Acai Berry Gourmet Soap. Our nearly natural gourmet soap combines the sweet mixture of succulent Acai Berries straight from the Amazon, with top notes of raspberry, strawberry, pear and sweet pineapple. Heart notes of classic jasmine, carnation, gardenia and peach mingles with a whisper of musk at the base of the fragrance. Enriched with Shea Butter makes this soap a luxury to use.

How We Make Our Soap

Many people at the farmer’s market have asked me “How do you make your soap?” So I thought it would be a nice idea if I posted a small tutorial on how we do it. So here goes.

The first thing to do is get all of your supplies ready. Measuring cups, spoons, scales, ingredients, etc, just like if you are baking.

The next step is measure out my lye and liquids, as this takes the longest to cool down. We make cold process soap, so the lye temperature should be around 100 degrees F when we mix. We measure the lye and then the liquids (you can use any liquid in soap making, water, milk, juice, wine or beer but there must be no alcohol left in wine or beer, and it must be flat). You always add the lye to the liquids, never the other way around or you could end up with an explosion like a volcano. Stir well and leave alone.

Next we measure out all of our solid oils, like coconut, palm, shea or cocoa butter. These then get melted. While these oils are melting, we measure out our liquid oils, like olive, jojoba, sweet almond, etc. and set aside. Fragrance and essential oils are measured out, along with any oxides or colorants that we may add. Then we prepare our moulds.

Once the solid oils have melted, we add our liquid oils and set aside. When the lye temperature and the oil temperature are the same, we very carefully add our lye to the oils, and mix until we have a light trace (this is where you get little lines in the mix).

At this point we will pour some of this mixture into our prepared colour bowl, and add any fragrances or essential oils. For this soap we are swirling, so we pour the coloured soap into the main soap pot. Once this is done we pour into our moulds, and cover.

We let this sit for 24 hours. After 24 hours we unmold and cut. Here is the finished soap, which will go into our curing room and sit for 4 to 5 weeks.

So now you know how we make our soap. This tutorial is not intended as any form or instruction, just to give you an idea of how we make our soap. Soap making can be dangerous if you are not certain in what you are doing, so if you want to make your own soap, you should take a class from a qualified instructor.

The first time I smelled this fragrance I fell in love with it. It is so complex but not strong or overpowering. It incorporates the succulent citrus notes of grapefruit, bergamot and brisk ginger, which are supported by a base of lush evergreen and sandalwood. A lovely scent that both men and women will enjoy. Our conditioning shampoo bar is a great 2-in-1 product. They combine gentle surfactants with serious conditioning ingredients, leaving the hair soft, managable & clean. Simply wet hair, rub shampoo bar into your hair until you have the desired amounts of lather,shampoo and rinse. I have been using mine for about 2 weeks now, and my hair has never been silkier. Scented with pure essential oils of Lavender, Lemon and Rosemary. These last much longer than an 8 ounce bottle of shampoo and are very convenient as you can take them camping or on vacation without the worry of leakage. Our shampoo bars should be dried off completely after use or put where they are not near water. 100 grams

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is a fragrant, hardy, evergreen shrub, whose fragrant flowers appear in late June or early July. Lavender Essential Oil is usually steam distilled from the fresh flowers, to be used in soaps, shampoos, aromatherapy, etc. Lavender is also known to have therapeutic properties which can aid in certain conditions including insomnia, alopecia (hair loss), anxiety, stress, and postoperative pain. Lavender is also known for its antibacterial and antiviral properties. Lavender oil is often used in other forms of integrative medicine, such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic manipulation.

Lavender flowers are also used in culinary dishes. Placed on cakes, used in jams and vinegars this is a very versatile plant. You can use lavender in jellies and many desert type recipes. There are all kinds of recipes on the internet. Lavender flowers can also be made into wands and sachets making any drawer smell like fresh lavender.

Like any essential oil, Lavender should be used with caution in case of allergies or a reaction. Never place essential oils directly onto the body. It is best to always dilute into a carrier oil such as sweet almond or grape seed before applying to the skin. You should never take essential oils internally unless you have consulted your physician.

Last Saturday was the opening of the Summer Season for the Abbotsford Farm & Country Farmer's Market. I really enjoy the market as you get to visit will all the other vendors, plus meet and greet new and old customers. It's always nice to see everyone again. Here are some pictures of my booth set up. We will be at the market almost every Saturday from now until the end of June, and then every other weekend. Dates are always posted on our website. Also we offer discount coupons you can use at the market on our monthly news letter, so if you are not already signed up, please do.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday May 9th. My Mother does not live near me, but last month I took a week and went to spend some time with her. She lives in Salmon Arm, about 4 hours away from us. We had a wonderful week, going out for lunches, we worked in her garden, did some shopping, and for her Mother's Day, my sister and I took her to the Spa. My Mom had never been to a Spa before, so we treated her to a pedicure. We all had a great time, and it was nice to see my Mom laughing and really enjoying herself. Although I will not be with my Mother this Sunday, she will be in my thoughts.

Your Mom is the one person (or at least my Mom is) that is always there for you, through good times and bad. So thank you Mom for everything that you have done for me. You mean the world to me.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy - "The therapeutic use of water in any of its various forms". Water healing is one of the fastest, cheapest, ways to make us feel better. After a hard stressful or strenuous day, relaxing in a bath tub of hot water, is something you know will make you feel better.

For me, I love a bath filled with luscious bubbles, salts and scents. This week we are putting a variety of our bath products on special, so maybe you will take the time, to relax and enjoy a lovely bath.

Coconut Milk Soaps

We have just added two new Coconut Milk Soaps to our natural soap line. Why Coconut Milk? Well coconut milk is very nice for the skin. Coconut Milk soaps offer a deep cleansing of the skin without overdrying. Coconut milk contains fatty acids (which help to eliminate dirt and impurities) along with Vitamin E, which is good for dry skin conditions. Coconut Milk is also known to be good for people with skin sensitivities, and is a good alternative for those who would like the benefits of a goat's milk soap, but are vegan. Our new coconut milk soaps have been scented with pure essential oils, and we've tried to be a little creative when making these. We hope you lather up with one of our coconut milk soaps.
